We are about to be saddled with the most liberal/leftist president in the history of this nation, and a Dem/libber controlled House and Senate. They are going to give these *poor immigrants* more rights and benefits than WE have. And who do you think is going to be paying for it?? Yeah, that’s right, you and me!

Until 2 years ago our RINO president had a RINO majority in the House and Senate and he still couldn’t find his ass with both hands and a set of directions. Don’t for one minute believe that Obama will be so challenged. He will take FULL advantage of his Dem/libber majority and use it to the fullest extent when it comes to matter such as ILLEGALS in America, they will NOT be ILLEGALS for too much longer.

http://texasfred.net/archives/2804

FYI RINO is a republican in name only or a red Tory for Canucks.

As you know in Canada there seems to be two sets of laws one for the left another for the right. If you hate Christians well you can get albums sold saying

kill the Christians kill the whites.
it’s called trudeaupian human rights

Yet look at Kinsella sideways and every third blogger on my blogroll might get sued. This lack of rights for non whiny groups the left hates is enshrined in section 15.2 of the charter. [linked to below]

Well we bloggers know whats going on in the world and we have devised a solution that will make us immune. No longer will we be called Nazis if we want Mackenzie King “LIBERAL style” whites only immigration. Why pussy foot around, now we’ll be able to say we can kill groups we don’t like, which HRC’s have pre approved in Canada where hating christians and whites is ok! No one will slur us with the monicker of Nazis ever again. We will be able to pick any country on the map and call for the death of anyone there over 18 years of age and through it all, We will now be known as the blogs of peace. Everyone who spots an error on any of the following blogs they will now realize that they are only taking things out of context or misquoting us or using a eurodescended racist cultural bias [like Jesus died in Paris!]. May they meet Al Battar if they do not realise the errors of their ways as part of my personal struggle.

There have been a rash of new registrations at network solutions to put an end to the discrimination now all bloggers below have joined a religion that makes them immune, now we will get the respect from the MSM’s we deserve, we’ll be invited en masse to the CBC town halls. Since we are part of “the arts” the funding will roll in. Inversly proportional to our audience we are Canadian after all, so I’ll get about 500,000 a month and SDA will get 1 bus ticket Mark Steyn will be given a used coffee filter.

From now on to remain immune from all pesky charges M.A.D. will be known as

“Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded,” says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, “The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness.” “Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave.”

(…)

For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.

(…)

“A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do,” he says. “A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation’s citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state20– as liberals do.”

(…)

“The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind,” he says. “When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious.”

Fun times on airstrip one.

In al-Qaida’s first response to Obama’s victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect — along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice — “house negroes.”

Speaking in Arabic, al-Zawahri uses the term “abeed al-beit,” which literally translates as “house slaves.” But al-Qaida supplied English subtitles of his speech that included the translation as “house negroes.”

The 11-minute 23-second video features the audio message by al-Zawahri, who appears only in a still image, along with other images, including one of Obama wearing a Jewish skullcap as he meets with Jewish leaders. In his speech, al-Zawahri refers to a Nov. 5 U.S. airstrike attack in Afghanistan, meaning the video was made after that date.

Will The Fairness Doctrine Silence The Conservative Voice as well as others?

Will 2009 usher in a fanatical push to re-instate the so-called Fairness Doctrine? Such a move would effectively silence the conservative voice and remove the last conservative stronghold against a fast-moving liberal agenda.

One need only read the words of Dianne Feinstein to see the true threat to conservative speech that is brewing on the horizon!

“Talk radio tends to be one-sided. It also tends to be dwelling in hyperbole. It’s xplosive. It pushes people to, I think, extreme views without a lot of information … I’m looking at the [Fairness Doctrine]…Unfortunately, talk radio is overwhelmingly one way.”

http://mainehuntingtoday.com/bbb/2008/11/13/stop-the-push-to-silence-free-speech/

You’re the professor. Anyway, I now find you’ve moved on to accuse me of making the quotation up:

As an example, I mentioned Maclean’s columnist Mark Steyn’s lack of responsibility in quoting Ayatollah Khomeini, who allegedly said that it’s okay for a man to have sex with animals, as long as he kills them after orgasm and doesn’t feed the meat to his own village. He gave no citation for the quote, and I suspect it was made up. The only20places I could find it on the Internet were on some right-wing blogsites.

It’s a book review. A review of a book by the late Oriana Fallaci called The Force Of Reason. And he seems to make it pretty clear to most sentient beings other than amoeba and journalism professors that the quotation comes from her book. So are you saying that Fallaci made it up? Or that St eyn made it up and somehow planted it in Fallaci’s book? Possibly while melting the steel in World Trade Tower Seven?”

Here’s what I wrote in Maclean’s:

Signora Fallaci then moves on to the livelier examples of contemporary Islam - - for example, Ayatollah Khomeini’s “Blue Book” and its helpful advice on romantic matters: “If a man marries a minor who has reached the age of nine and if during the defloration he immediately breaks the hymen, he cannot enjoy her any longer.” I’ll say. I know it always ruins my evening. Also: “A man who has had sexual relations with an animal, such as a sheep, may not eat its meat. He would commit sin.” Indeed. A quiet cigarette afterwards as you listen to your favourite Johnny Mathis LP and then a promise to call her next week and swing by the pasture is by far the best way. It may also be a sin to roast your nine-year-old wife, but the Ayatollah’s not clear on that.

Seems pretty clear to me where it comes from. However, I think the easiest way to resolve the issue is for me to mail you a copy of the Ayatollah’s book. As you pride yourself on being far more clued in to the Muslim community than I am, I’m sure you’ll have no difficulty getting it translated. But, in case you do, I’ll also send you the standard English translation. That should settle it, don’t you think?

http://www.steynonline.com/content/view/1473/128/

First Mr journalism said Mark made the quote up now he’s saying that Mark isn’t using a good enough source.

Oh yes, and what does the Prophet of Doom website say about Islam? “Islam is a caustic blend of regurgitated paganism and twisted Bible stories. Muhammad, its lone prophet, conceived his religion solely to satiate his lust for power, sex, and money. He was a terrorist.”

A reactionary, right-wing blog? I rest my case.

http://www.steynonline.com/content/view/1479/128/

I guess when someone who worked at a reactionary left wing paper and then moves to a reactionary left wing institute in a reactionary left wing field i’m supposed to care who they call reactionary right wingers. Is it the truth would be my question.

This right Miller thinks a guy with 12 wives as well as concubines isn’t satiating his lust? Does he know which of Mohammeds children was named after a non Allah type deity? Or how many wives were under 10 years old? When he was conquering these territories was it not for power? I mean that’s mental it’s like saying Bloefeld etc in James bond didn’t want power because it’s not politically correct for them to do so. Oh wait they are whites and whites have it coming. But minorities can do no wrong, shhhhh. To say the truth is blasphemy and we all know Chretien passed that well maybe never.

If you think he wasn’t a terrorist look up Al Battar. Or others.

Peace be upon those who died impaled on the prophets swords. Course miller might figure they were traditionally advantaged being professors and deserve it. I think he should pick one and fall on it just to assuage his guilt from the world.

As for terror.

The same part of the Koran tells of splitting up war booty just like Mr Miller says would be right wing and reactionary.

Say Hello To Deficit Jim?

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty says Canada may run a federal budget deficit in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.

“We’re on track to run a small surplus,” he told a group of business leaders in Toronto Wednesday. “For next year it’s more challenging.”

He said his government would “redouble” efforts to keep spending under control but warned that attempts to balance the budget at all costs were “misguided.”

“What we will never do is engineer a surplus at any price, because that price would ultimately be paid by Canadian families,” Mr. Flaherty said in late October.

Somehow it doesn’t sound like Mr. Flaherty is willing to “redouble” his efforts to keep spending over control. Not sure if there’s even anything to “redouble”. Program spending ha s skyrocketed from $176B in 2004/05-2005/06 to $208B for 2008/09 with about $218B budgeted for 2009/10.

Gisela Gruber was a woman’s studies professor who was on a year-long sabbatical and living in New Concord at her cottage in order to devote herself to her writing. About six months ago, she began contacting Harry—first by email, then in person—about a library book entitled Population Perils: A Review of Demographic Crises Around the World by James Robinson PhD. Harry was surprised to hear from her—or at least her surrogates9 4since he had not had any contact with her in the last three months. He figured that that was the amount of time it took for her application to wind its way through the complaints process.

Ms. Gruber’s objection to the book was that in the face of lopsided sex ratios in various parts of the world it recommended that sex-selection abortions should be banned.

To suggest a curb on such a fundamental right in this day and age was inadmissible. In the eyes of the good professor, it amounted to hate speech.

Now of course, since the author and the publisher were American, she could not take up her complaint with them and persuade them of the rightness of her cause.

She had to contact the library to express her offense and demand that it be removed from library. The right to abortion was a hard-won right and any suggestion that it should be curtailed for any reason whatsoever could unleash the forces of misogyny and lead down the path to its complete prohibition. For decades, feminists had20worked tirelessly first to legalize it, then decriminalize it and finally to stigmatize and suppress every proposal for guidelines to frame its practice. The slightest breath of dissent could unravel the present day social consensus on the matter and ignite the dying embers of the anti-choice movement. The gains that feminists had made were too fragile in the face of omnipresent patriarchal impulses that were still buried deep in the hearts of the people. All owing that book to stand on the shelves of the New Concord Library was far too risky.

It had to be eliminated.

Tamino:

There’s no post-1988 data for Cobija or Rurrenabaque

After I showed the existence of post-1988 data, a poster at Tamino’s site asked:

OK now i’m confused. Is there or is there not temp data for Cobija and Rurrenabaque after 1988? (as posted over at CA) Not trying to take any side here just losing faith on what to believe.

Even after I’d produced post-1988 data (and given active links to modern data), Tamino persisted:

[Response: I downloaded both the raw and adjusted datasets from GISS, and there’s no data beyond April 1989. ]

One of his posters persisted:

Dear Tamino,
I know you insist that “[t]here’s no data from Cobija or Rurrenabaque”, But McIntyre has posted the post 1988 temperature data for Cobija and Rurrenabaque at Climate Audit today.
Why the discrepancy?

To which Tamino answered:

[Response: He didn’t get it from GHCN or from NASA. Does it include adjustments for station moves, time-of-observation, instrument changes? Does Anthony Watts have photographs?]

Actually this wasn’t even true. I’d been able to get data from GHCN-Daily. Another reader persisted, asking the quesitons already raised here, as to why NASA GISS:

1) sto pp[ed] using data series in 1988 when a full series exists till today (documented on CA for Cobija, Rurrenabaque).
2) Classiff[ied] stations as rural that are in fact urban (documented on CA for Yurimaguas, Moyobamba, Chachapoyas, Lambayeque, Tarapoto, Cajamarca, Tingo Maria) and adjusting them accordingly…

To which Tamino responded with the same fingerpointing argument recently used by Hansen’s other bulldog (Gavin):

[Response: … I asked you “in what way did GISS violate legitimate scientific method?” It appears that it’s not GISS but GHCN which left the post-1989 data out of the combined data supplied to GISS. Maybe there’s even a good reason. Clearly it was not GISS but GHCN which classified urban stations as rural. GISS was sufficiently dissatisfied with the classifications provided by GHCN to devise a whole new method and apply it to the U.S. Adjusting stations by comparing to other stations which have faulty population metadata is most certainly NOT a violation of legitimate scientific METHOD — it’s faulty metadata.

People who are not climate scientists typically have to scratch their heads a little when they see this sort of reasoning, which, as I just noted, is pretty much NASA’s present defence. The Other Dude Did It.

At their webpage, NOAA GHCN assures us that their quality control is “rigorous”.

=0 ABoth historical and near-real-time GHCN data undergo rigorous quality assurance reviews.

This representation was endorsed in Hansen et al 1999 (with corresponding language in Hansen et al 2001) as follows

The GHCN data have undergone extensive quality control, as described by Peterson et al. [1998c].

I guess if you don’t actually update the majority of your data, it reduces the work involved in quality control.

I refer to these past posts as evidence that problems at GHCN have been on our radar screen long before the present incident. Indeed, I hope that access to GHCN procedures will be a positive outcome of the present contretemps.

Resolute NWT
Now as promised above, here’s evidence of a prior incident.

Another ‘champion of abortion’ becomes defender of life: the story of Sotjan Adasevic
Madrid, Nov 12, 2008 / 09:21 pm (CNA).- The Spanish daily “La Razon” has published an article on the pro-life conversion of a former “champion of abortion.” Stojan Adasevic, who p erformed 48,000 abortions, sometimes up to 35 per day, is now the most important pro-life leader in Serbia, after 26 years as the most renowned abortion doctor in the country.

“The medical textbooks of the Communist regime said abortion was simply the removal of a blob of tissue,” the newspaper reported. “Ultrasounds allowing the fetus to be seen did not arrive until the 80s, but they did not change his opinion. Nevertheless, he began to hav e nightmares.”

In describing his conversion, Adasevic “dreamed about a beautiful field full of children and young people who were playing and laughing, from 4 to 24 years of age, but who ran away from him in fear. A man dressed in a black and white habit stared at him in silence. The dream was repeated each night and he would wake up in a cold sweat. One night he asked the man in black and white who he was.

A “manipulative” account? How so? I was reporting the facts of Awan’s intervention as I gathered them from interviewing both Elmasry and Awan, and reading several accounts of Ken Whyte’s version of his meeting with the law students. You also leap to a rather large conclusion when you say “it’s obvious Miller thinks Awan deserved to win.” As a matter of fact, I was reasonably pleased with the decision in B.C. I was merely applauding him for standing up for what he saw as a more representative view of Islam.

Think what you want about what I said, but kindly get your facts right.

And, hey, thanks for taking the trouble to transcribe my speech. You have a very good-looking blogsite, by the way.

For my part, it was interesting to look out at the audience and see so many Ezra Levant supporters and know that nothing I said would be even listened to seriously. Judging from the circle who gathered around him afterwards, hanging on every word, you are young, well-educated, articulate, white and very angry about something. I’m curious to know what that something is.

http://www.novascotiascott.com/2008/11/03/john-miller-the-saga-of-khurrum-awan/

Course Mr Miller knows what it’s like to be poor and be told you can’t have a job because some rich SOB like him feels advantaged?

And we all know John would rather stop some poor white male from getting hired than have him step down from his own job and work for the minimum wage.

28 years ago I lost my first job to affirmative action yes I’m still angry, every time there’s a hiring quota, John.  It’s called racism just because you approve doesn’t make it unracist.
